Branch Financial, LLC is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead FP&A, product finance, and business insights. You will own the planning process, long-range model, and budgeting across departments, partnering with CFO and executives to steer strategy and investments.

You will build and mentor a high-performing team, oversee regulatory reporting, and support fundraising while driving data-driven decisions and strong financial discipline across a remote-forward organization.

Qualifications

• Proven track record owning planning and forecasting for a business in property & casualty insurance, insurtech, or other highly regulated environments.
• Deep knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics.
• Experience leading or working closely with a business intelligence or data team, and a clear understanding of how data drives decisions.
• Experience building, coaching, and growing teams of managers.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets, financial planning tools, and BI/reporting tools.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; MBA a plus.
• Strong understanding of insurance financial metrics including loss ratios, expense ratios, and combined ratios.
• Experience supporting board-level financial reporting, investor relations, and capital management.

Responsabilités

• Lead FP&A, product finance, and business insights teams and align their work with company goals.
• Run annual planning and long-range financial modeling from start to finish, with CFO sign-off.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis across departments and explain drivers.
• Present financial results and forecasts to executives and influence investment decisions.
• Develop business cases, unit economics analyses, growth and pricing scenarios.
• Establish reporting standards and data quality across the company.
