Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic VP Finance/Controller in Massachusetts to lead financial operations, budgeting, reporting, and audit activities. The role requires 5+ years in a senior financial managerial position with strong BOM, manufacturing cost understanding and inventory control.

The position offers a competitive salary of $140,000–$150,000 per year plus 401(k) matching, health insurance, PTO, and bonus opportunities in a company that values culture and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
• Minimum 5 years in a senior financial managerial role, preferably in Distribution/Manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of BOM, manufacturing cost structures, inventory and cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations including AP/AR, payroll, GL, and treasury.
• Prepare financial reports: P&L, balance sheets, regulatory reports.
• Ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.
• Develop and implement financial policies and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with leaders to develop financial strategies and drive profitability.
• Analyze financial data and present timely reports.
