Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic VP Finance/Controller in Canton, MA to lead all financial operations for a distribution/manufacturing environment. You will oversee budgeting, financial reporting, treasury, and audit management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

This permanent on-site role requires at least five years in senior financial leadership and deep knowledge of BOM, costing, and inventory. You will partner with executives to shape strategy, drive cost efficiency, and ensure proper internal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior financial managerial position in distribution/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of BOM, manufacturing cost, and physical inventory.
• Proficient in financial systems and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of financial operations including AP/AR, payroll, GL, and treasury.
• Oversee preparation of financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, regulatory reports).
• Ensure accurate recording, filing, and reporting of all financial transactions.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with leaders to develop financial strategies and drive profitability.
• Review budgets and forecasts to identify cost reduction opportunities.
