Jobot is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager in Needham, MA to lead cost accounting across manufacturing operations, develop standard costs, BOMs, and cost analyses, and drive profitability.

The role requires 5+ years in cost accounting, GAAP/IFRS expertise, and hands-on experience with SAP and Power BI. You will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize costs and provide timely financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• CPA or CMA designation strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in GAAP and IFRS standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost accounting, develop standard costs, BOMs, and cost analyses.
• Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly financial reports with variance and margin analyses.
• Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, and controls.
• Conduct forecasts and budgeting, identify trends and variances.
• Ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance and robust internal controls.
• Utilize SAP and Power BI to automate reporting and insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve profitability.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed.
