Job summary

Ladders is seeking a VP, Controller to lead the accounting function for a high-growth technology company. This senior finance leader will own reporting, controls, and the close process, partnering with the CFO, executive team, and external auditors to support decision-making and audit readiness.

You will modernize workflows with automation and AI, build a scalable team, and ensure US GAAP accuracy, SOX compliance, and equity accounting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 5+ years leading teams.
• CPA license is required.
• Experience in high-growth technology, SaaS, or cloud infrastructure.
• Deep US GAAP and financial reporting expertise.
• Proven SOX design and internal controls implementation.
• Experience managing external audits and auditor relationships.
• Strong executive-level presentation skills.
• Builder mindset with sound judgment.

For our client, we are seeking a VP, Controller to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This senior finance leader will own the accounting function for a high-growth technology organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and disciplined close processes. The role will partner closely with the CFO, executive leadership, and external auditors to support decision-making and maintain audit readiness. You will also help modernize accounting workflows, including automation and AI-enabled processes, while building a scalable team and infrastructure for the business's continued growth.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $260,000 – $330,000 annually

Responsibilities
