Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Corporate Controller to own the global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, delivering US GAAP financial statements with multi-entity consolidation. The role focuses on disciplined close processes, accurate reporting, and scalable controls across a growing international footprint.

You will drive revenue recognition for complex contracts, establish accounting policies, manage external audits, and guide the ERP roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA license required.
• 12+ years accounting experience with 5+ in leadership.
• Experience building and leading multi-layer accounting teams.
• Big 4 or national-firm public accounting experience.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP (ASC 606).
• Proven external audits leadership and SOX-ready controls.

For our client, we are seeking a Corporate Controller to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This leader will own the accounting function with a focus on disciplined close processes, accurate reporting, and scalable controls across a growing international footprint. The role partners closely with auditors, finance leadership, and operational stakeholders to strengthen governance while supporting business growth. It also plays a key role in revenue recognition, accounting policy development, and the evolution of systems and processes to support the organization’s expansion.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $225,000 – $300,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own the global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
• Deliver accurate US GAAP financial statements, including multi-entity consolidation
• Establish and document accounting policies and defend them with auditors
• Lead revenue recognition for complex contracts and advise on accounting implications
• Own the external audit relationship and lead the annual audit

• Set the accounting systems roadmap and scale the ERP and surrounding tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; active CPA license
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role
• Experience building and leading multi-layer accounting teams
• Big 4 or national-firm public accounting experience
• Deep understanding of US GAAP, especially ASC 606
• Proven track record in leading external audits and establishing SOX-ready controls
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation across international subsidiaries
