Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations. The role partners with divisional leaders to standardize workflows, optimize processes, and drive workforce planning and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring deep P&C expertise, strong stakeholder management, and a proven ability to execute in a matrixed environment. Fully remote work is preferred within Central Time Zone hours, with potential hybrid onsite

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable improvements.
• Strong workforce planning and capacity modeling experience.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives with senior leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity and consistency.
• Support workforce planning and capacity modeling for growth.
• Assist with M&A integration through operational assessments and alignment.
• Promote effective use of EPIC, reporting tools, and tech platforms.
• Drive change leadership and professional development across teams.
