Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to serve as a national SME in Commercial P&C and agency operations. You will partner with divisional leadership to drive standardization, scalability, and shareholder value across the organization.

The role emphasizes workflow optimization, workforce planning, and cross-functional collaboration with producers, operations, and technology teams. Remote work is allowed with on-site as needed, within policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership within a large broker/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations and workflows.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions and operational integration.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with regional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Standardize workflows, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead process improvements to boost productivity and client outcomes.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Plan workforce capacity to support growth and excellence.
• Align managed services with organizational goals.
• Provide national guidance on EPIC, workflows, and tech platforms.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and planning.
• Collaborate with producers, ops teams, and leadership for implementation.
• Drive performance metrics and business intelligence use.
• Lead change management and promote ongoing professional development.
• Champions IOA values in all interactions.
