Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national P&C operations, drive process standardization, and optimize workflows across the organization. You will partner with regional leaders to deliver scalable solutions, improve service delivery, and support growth with a focus on efficiency and client outcomes.

The role requires 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership, active P&C license, CPCU/CIC (preferred), and strong communication in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership within a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable process improvements.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives with Divisional and Regional Leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions that improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish and promote standardized Commercial Lines workflows, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead process improvement initiatives focused on productivity, reducing variation, and effectiveness.
• Evaluate operational issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity to support growth and service demands.
• Partner with Managed Services to align resources with goals.
• Serve as a national Commercial P&C subject matter expert on operations and workflows.
• Support merger and acquisition integration through operational assessments and alignment.
• Collaborate with producers, operations teams, and leadership to drive adoption of new practices.
• Promote EPIC and other technology to improve performance.
