Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to serve as a national SME in Commercial P&C and agency operations. The role partners with regional leaders to standardize workflows, drive efficiency, and support growth.

It also guides M&A integration and operational transformation, ensuring client service excellence and shareholder value. The position demands a P&C license, 5–7+ years of leadership experience, and strong change leadership, communications, and analytical skills

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with senior leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and quality.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable improvements.
• Analyze staffing, workload, and capacity planning for growth.
• Coordinate with Managed Services to optimize resources.
• Provide national SME guidance on agency operations and systems.
• Support M&A integration and operational alignment.
• Collaborate with producers, operations teams, and leadership to drive results.
• Promote EPIC usage and optimize technology utilization.
• Leverage metrics and BI to assess effectiveness and drive changes.
