Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Advanced knowledge in all facets of relationship management.
• Advanced organizational and time management skills.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
• May require up to 50% travel.
• Requires interest in working with venture-backed technology companies.

Responsibilities

• Identify target market for new business and build a book of relationships.
• Negotiate, underwrite, and close complex loans per lending policies.
• Develop business checking and deposit relationships with customers.
• Assist clients with deposit products and solutions.
• Gather and analyze client information to recommend deposit solutions.
• Engage in business development and solicit new business.
• Collaborate with treasury partners for seamless client experiences.
• Call and visit target customers to establish a new book of business.
• Maintain customer data and generate reports for superiors.
• Coordinate processing of approved loans and ensure adherence to policies.
• Stay informed on financial industry trends.
• Recommend products to senior management for performance improvements.
• Represent the Bank in community events to expand market position.
