Western Alliance Bancorporation seeks a Vice President, Commercial Banker focused on ABL/Tech to identify and develop a new book of business among venture-backed technology clients. You will negotiate and underwrite complex loans in line with bank policies and coordinate closings.

The role requires strong relationship management, deep banking operations knowledge, and a willingness to travel up to 50% to meet clients and close opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience in commercial banking.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including loan administration and treasury management.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance obligations.
• Advanced knowledge in relationship management.
• May require up to 50% travel.
• Interest in working with venture-backed technology companies.

Responsibilities

• Identify target market for new business and develop a book of new business from relationships.
• Negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate closing of major and complex loans.
• Develop business checking and deposit relationships with customers.
• Gather and analyze client information to recommend deposit product solutions.
• Engage in business development and solicit new business with the target market.
• Collaborate with treasury partner to ensure seamless client experiences.
• Call and visit target customers to promote and sell Bank products and services.
• Maintain customer data base and report results to superiors.
