Job summary

Gartner, Inc. is seeking a Vice President to lead Analyst Relations within the BTI group. You will partner with senior leadership to shape corporate direction, drive thought leadership, and deliver influential insights to clients, prospects, and Gartner teams.

The role requires 15+ years in AR or related leadership, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to present at large and small events. Travel up to 25% is contemplated as part of client engagements and Gartner conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in an Analyst Relations team or leadership role.
• Experience working with Senior Leadership in marketing, communications, strategy, or product areas to drive corporate direction / achieve corporate goals.
• Planning, developing and executing an evaluative & advisory AR program.
• Demonstrate executive presence; can immediately establish credibility with executives and additional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, thought provoking, and highly leveraged “must-have insights” content.
• Develop in-depth analysis to identify the root cause of client needs and reframe thinking to drive strategy forward.
• Demonstrate thought leadership in establishing Insights positions across a team of analysts.
• Provide high value presentation materials on Gartner events, industry and client briefings.
• Support BTI and Sales: provide sales support and act as voice of the market to drive client engagement.
