Job summary

Clarivate is seeking a Vice President, Teaching & Learning to shape onCourse, our AI-native platform for higher education. This executive will build a new growth business by pairing university relationships with differentiated data assets and a market-aware product strategy.

The role requires 10+ years in education technology leadership, 5+ years leading a business unit or product strategy, and a track record of scaling disruptive software.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership in higher education technology, enterprise edtech, SaaS, or related markets.
• 5+ years leading a business unit, product strategy, or general management.
• Experience launching or scaling disruptive software products or ventures.
• Experience owning GTM, pricing, and pipeline development.
• Experience working with universities, enterprise customers, and partners.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across sales, product, marketing, finance, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Own the business strategy, product direction, market development, commercialization, and revenue for onCourse and related opportunities.
• Define market focus, segments, value proposition, growth model, and path from launch to lift-off.
• Set product vision and roadmap priorities with Technology, grounded in customer needs and market opportunity.
• Lead discovery, design partner engagement, and product-market fit validation to drive adoption.
• Own revenue plan, GTM approach, pricing, and sales enablement in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
• Develop executive relationships with universities, design partners, and strategic prospects to accelerate validation and pipeline.
• Drive pipeline creation, deal progression, and customer conversion for predictable performance.
• Lead an integrated team across sales, product management, and product marketing with close coordination with AI, content, and operations.
• Align senior leaders around the business case, market opportunity, and path to growth.
