Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a teacher to share the gospel with public school students using the LifeWise curriculum in a classroom setting.

The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication, caring nature, and strong ability to teach children. The role involves completing certification within 30 days, joining annual summits, and maintaining attendance records and relationships with students.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training: finish LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days, attend LifeWise Summit annually, participate in Teachers' Lounge or LifeWise Meet-Up.
• Teach LifeWise Classes: map curricula, implement LifeWise curriculum, build relationships and pray for students, maintain redemptive discipline and organized classroom.
• Maintain Records: take attendance, share records with program director/school officials, maintain rosters including health needs and permissions.
• Maintain the Classroom: keep a clean, attractive, well-ordered space and know emergency procedures; purchase supplies as needed.
• Communicate: act as LifeWise ambassador, engage with school personnel, and share updates/stories with the director; promote LifeWise mission.
