Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a dedicated teacher to share gospel-centered instruction with public school students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate participates actively in a local church and communicates well with students and staff.

The role requires completing LifeWise training, implementing the LifeWise curriculum, and maintaining organized classroom management and records to support student wellbeing and engagement.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the What We Believe section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days and annual LifeWise Summit.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and build relationships with students.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters, plus health concerns and permissions as noted on slips.
• Keep a clean, organized classroom and handle emergencies, purchasing supplies as needed.
• Communicate as LifeWise ambassador and engage with school and community partners.
