Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a dedicated teacher to share gospel-centered instruction with publicly-funded school students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate participates actively in a local church, communicates effectively, and shows care and perceptiveness in teaching children.

This role requires completion of LifeWise Teacher Certification, ongoing training, and regular participation in LifeWise events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Maintain attendance records and rosters, health notes, and parent permissions as needed.
• Maintain an organized, engaging classroom and employ redemptive discipline.
• Attend LifeWise training events (Initial training, annual Summit) and stay updated via LifeWise communications.
• Build relationships with volunteers and communicate schedule changes to school personnel and LifeWise team.
