Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a devoted teacher to share the gospel with public school students using the LifeWise curriculum in a classroom setting.

The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a caring, perceptive approach.

Responsibilities include completing training and certification, teaching LifeWise classes, keeping attendance and records, and engaging volunteers and school staff in a community-focused mission.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with What We Believe.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Invest in building relationships with students and praying for them regularly.
• Maintain attendance, rostering, health notes, and substitute information.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and the program director.
