Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a dedicated LifeWise Teacher to share the gospel in a classroom setting with public school students. A church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills is preferred, and a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs is essential.

The role includes training, certification within 30 days, and ongoing involvement in summits and meet-ups, all while applying LifeWise policies and building relationships with students and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise Statement of Faith.
• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Invest in connecting with students through relationships and praying for them regularly.
• Maintain an organized, engaging classroom and keep attendance/records up to date.
• Communicate with school personnel and volunteers; participate in open houses and outreach events.
• Follow LifeWise policies, procedures and resources; attend trainings and updates.
