Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a teacher to share the gospel with public school students in a classroom setting, combining Bible knowledge with strong teaching abilities. The ideal candidate actively participates in a local church and communicates with care and interpersonal skill to engage children.

Responsibilities include completing the LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days, teaching LifeWise classes, building relationships, and maintaining accurate attendance and rosters.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Maintain attendance, health notes, and class rosters; provide information for substitutes.
• Create an organized, engaging classroom environment with redemptive discipline.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; attend events.
• Complete LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days of start date.
