Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a dedicated teacher to share gospel-centered education with students in a classroom setting. The candidate should be an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a caring, perceptive approach to teaching children.

The role requires completing the LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days, participating in annual summits and regular meet-ups, and maintaining records and a respectful classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church.

Responsibilities

• Complete training and LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and adapt as needed.
• Maintain attendance and class rosters, health notes and permissions.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and prepare materials for substitutes.
• Communicate with program director, school staff and volunteers regularly.
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties.
