Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a dedicated teacher to share the gospel with public school students in a classroom setting. The candidate should be an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, caring, perceptive, and proficient in teaching children.

Responsibilities include completing the LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days, attending trainings and Meet-Ups, teaching using the LifeWise curriculum, building relationships with students, maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the curriculum and build relationships with students
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom and manage emergencies
• Communicate with program director, school personnel and volunteers
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties and interactions.
