Job summary

Pipestone County Medical Center and Family Clinic, part of Avera, is seeking qualified individuals to join our team as a Volunteer Coordinator. The role plans, organizes, markets and operates hospital volunteer services across the facility and Gift Shop, coordinating with multiple departments to deliver compassionate service.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, with preferred background in volunteer recruitment and program coordination; 1-3 years in healthcare.

Qualifications

• One to three years in healthcare environment preferred.

Position Highlights

Job Duties

This position provides volunteer coordination consultation and support services in administering the volunteer processes/programs throughout the facility. This position is responsible for the planning, organization, marketing and operation of the hospital volunteer services. Coordinates with all areas of the Medical Center to provide effective volunteer services and oversees day to day operations in the PCMC Gift Shop.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Background in volunteer recruitment and program coordination preferred; One to three years in healthcare environment preferred.

The pay range for this position is $21.44 - $33.24 per hour. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
