Job summary

Pipestone County Medical Center invites qualified nurses to join our infection control and employee health program. The role focuses on compliance with federal/state guidelines, health screening, and risk management in a small Southwest Minnesota community hospital.

Applicants must be RN licensed in Minnesota, with a BSN preferred and 3 years nursing experience, ideally in infection control or employee health; BLS within one week of hire. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• 3 years of nursing experience with preference to prior experience in infection control and/or employee health.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota.
• BLS certified or must be obtained within 1 week of hire.
• Must meet educational requirements per CMS standards for Infection Control.

Location: Pipestone, MN Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Day Shift (United States of America) Pipestone County Medical Center and Family Clinic is currently seeking to find qualified individuals to join our growing team. We are committed to providing high quality services to our southwest Minnesota community.

Position Highlights

Job Duties: Responsible for implementation and oversight of infection control program in compliance with federal, state and organizational guidelines. Provides for health protection, screening and counseling to employees of PCMC, within nursing scope. Supports pre-employment and annual employee health activities. Establishes and maintains policies, programs and protocols in compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines for infection control and employee health. Will perform duties consistent with the coordination and implementation of all areas of safety. Responsible for compliance management of regulations and standards applicable to healthcare facility operations, including MNOSHA and Center of Medicare and Medicaid Services. Assists with the maintenance of quality management related activities which includes risk management, quality assurance, safety, and other quality related areas.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. 3 years of nursing experience with preference to prior experience in infection control and/or employee health. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota. BLS certified or must be obtained within 1 week of hire. Must meet educational requirements per the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) standards for Infection Control.

The pay range for this position is $37.81 - $60.49 per hour. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
