Pipestone County Medical Center and Family Clinic, part of Avera, is seeking qualified individuals to join our team as a Volunteer Coordinator. The role plans, organizes, markets and operates hospital volunteer services across the facility and Gift Shop, coordinating with multiple departments to deliver compassionate service.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, with preferred background in volunteer recruitment and program coordination; 1-3 years in healthcare.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Background in volunteer recruitment and program coordination preferred.
• One to three years in healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate volunteer processes and programs across the facility.
• Plan, organize, market and operate hospital volunteer services.
• Oversee day-to-day operations in the PCMC Gift Shop.
