Pipestone County Medical Center and Family Clinic is seeking a volunteer coordinator to lead and support our hospital volunteer programs. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and promoting volunteer services across the facility, ensuring cross-department coordination, and managing day-to-day activities in the Gift Shop.

The ideal candidate has a GED or high school diploma with experience in volunteer coordination, preferably within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Background in volunteer recruitment and program coordination preferred; One to three years in healthcare environment preferred.

Position Highlights

Job Duties:

This position provides volunteer coordination consultation and support services in administering the volunteer processes/programs throughout the facility. This position is responsible for the planning, organization, marketing and operation of the hospital volunteer services. Coordinates with all areas of the Medical Center to provide effective volunteer services and oversees day to day operations in the PCMC Gift Shop.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Background in volunteer recruitment and program coordination preferred; One to three years in healthcare environment preferred.

The pay range for this position is $21.44 - $33.24 per hour. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
