Job summary

Leidos LLC seeks an experienced engineering leader to guide a team of VoIP, VTC, and telephony engineers. You will own delivery quality, schedules, risks, and stakeholder alignment while shaping solution architecture for on-premises, hybrid, UCaaS, and cloud collaboration environments.

You will drive performance reviews, training, and succession planning, ensuring secure, measurable, and operationally ready solutions. A strong background in SIP, SBCs, and vendor coordination is required.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of progressive engineering experience in VoIP, VTC, enterprise telephony, UC
• At least 3 years of technical leadership with supervisory responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Telecommunications/Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ~4 VoIP, VTC, and Telephony Solution Engineers to deliver engineering commitments
• Own engineering quality, execution, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations
• Develop and maintain architectural roadmaps for on-premises, hybrid, UCaaS, and cloud platforms
• Design, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise voice and video systems and integrations
• Ensure operational readiness, security, monitoring, and documentation for deployed solutions
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to align with enterprise requirements
