Job summary

Thrive is seeking a Voice Implementation Engineer to complete telephony projects for clients, performing site assessments and engineering tasks to onboard Thrive Managed Voice Services. You will collaborate with engineers, project managers and clients to rollout Thrive Voice Solutions, handling Teams Voice, number porting, and advanced telephony configurations.

Travel 50% of the time to client sites; Thrive covers travel and accommodations as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Degree or equivalent work experience.
1–3 years of experience in operation and support of voice and data networks.
Willingness to travel about 50% of the time; travel expenses covered by Thrive.

Responsibilities

Travel to client locations to perform comprehensive site assessments based on project requirements.
Identify any ancillary voice devices and related dial-tone dependencies.
Assess network readiness for VoIP and telephony requirements; propose cabling needs and recommendations.
Implement IT projects including Microsoft Teams Voice and number porting between carriers.
Configure advanced telephony and manage diverse environments for various clients.
Analyze unfamiliar client environments and map quickest path to project goals.
Communicate project plans, impacts and testing procedures clearly to customers.
Track and manage time across multiple ongoing projects.
