Job summary

ISS Facility Services - North America is seeking a General Manager to ensure cohesive operation across multi-unit food service sites. You will lead a large culinary and hospitality team, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement in line with client strategy.

You will coordinate weekly management meetings, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure top-notch service and safety across all units.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years General Management in multi-unit food environment.
• Experience managing 20+ employees (hourly and salaried).
• Proven leadership in a large culinary and hospitality team.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• ServSafe certified or able to certify after hire.
• Graduate of accredited Culinary or Hospitality program preferred.
• Managing within a union environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, cost-effective food service meeting core program expectations.
• Develop attractive menus with Guckenheimer food standards.
• Interview and hire unit staff per regulations.
• Lead employee training and development programs as instructed.
• Maintain budgeting, forecasting, and payroll records.
• Ensure sanitary, safe operation per health regulations; follow NSF/HACCP.
• Communicate with customers and client management for improvements.
• Lead procurement, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
• Coach staff and conduct performance appraisals.
• Schedule employees and lead management meetings.
• Review budgets and unit performance with Area Manager.
• Maintain safety priority for all employees and customers.
