Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a General Manager to lead multiple foodservice operations across cafés, retail dining, and catering programs. You will drive outstanding service, operational excellence, and strong financial performance while building diverse, high-performing teams.

You will collaborate with district leadership and culinary teams to innovate menus, optimize operations, and deliver memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

Experience leading foodservice, hospitality, retail dining, catering, or multi-unit operations.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, financial performance, and operational metrics.
Experience overseeing high-volume food production and catering programs.
Strong relationship-building with clients, guests, and team members.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations across multiple cafés, retail dining locations, and catering services.
Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and P&L accountability.
Build, develop, and support high-performing teams through coaching, engagement, training, and recognition.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance conversations,_employee relations, and workforce planning.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels through scheduling and payroll management.
Foster relationships with clients, guests, and internal partners to deliver exceptional service.
Partner with culinary leaders to develop menus and elevate guest experience.
Monitor metrics and drive continuous improvement for efficiency and service excellence.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
Support and implement new culinary, retail, marketing, and guest engagement programs.
Champion a culture of inclusion, safety, accountability, and teamwork across units.
