LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an EyeCare Advisor in California to deliver the LensCrafters Experience with high-quality optometric care and exceptional service.

You will greet customers within 30 seconds, explain tests and services, review prescriptions for accuracy, assist with frame and lens choices, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records while processing payments at the POS. Join a team focused on care, style, and optical innovation.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.
• Previous experience in customer service, retail and/or optical.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers promptly and answers calls warmly; explains paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information for accuracy and identifies special needs with staff when necessary.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant patient records and handles data responsibly.
• Operates the POS system and processes payments following security procedures.
• Maintains store displays and keeps appearance aligned with company guidelines.
• Assists customers with frame and lens choices based on vision, lifestyle and budget.
• Supports pre-examination testing and proper care of contact lenses with guidance from clinicians.
• Performs pre-examination testing with accuracy and explains measurements to patients.
