Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience, ensuring high-quality optometric care and seamless collaboration between doctor and retail functions. You will assist patients, explain tests and paperwork, and guide frame and lens selections while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities include greeting customers quickly, processing orders, coaching on contact lenses, and safeguarding patient records under HIPAA.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Organization skills.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers within 30 seconds.
• Answers the telephone promptly (3 rings).
• Explains required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information; consults with Optician/Doctor when needed.
• Shows patience with indecisive customers; resolves issues quickly.
• Operates the store accurately under time pressure and volume.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant patient records.
• Manages contact lens orders, shipments and invoices.
• Operates POS with accuracy and proper payment handling.
• Explains One Hour processing and delivery times.
• Maintains store appearance and visual displays per guidelines.
