Job summary

Walmart is seeking a capable leader for its Optical Department in Bluffton, SC. You will oversee merchandising, pricing accuracy, inventory control, and seasonal execution to drive revenue growth and market relevance.

You will also lead community outreach, supervise the optical team, ensure patient safety, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records. Responsibilities include guiding fittings and measurements under supervision, coordinating orders with labs, and promoting OD services.

Qualifications

• Option 1: Completion of 2 or more years of college.
• Option 2: 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
• Option 3: 2 years' general work experience, including 1 year's optical experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent, unless state specific regulations require advanced education.
• Meets eligibility requirements to work in the Vision Center, including minimum age of 18, certification, registration, licensure, and other qualifications required by company policy and applicable regulations.
• Active state licensure.
• Active ABO.

• Leads department sales growth through effective merchandising and pricing accuracy.
• Mentions inventory oversight and seasonal execution to meet targets.

• Oversees precise eyewear measurements and fittings under supervision.
