Job summary

Qualifications

• Option 1: Completion of 2 or more years of college.
• Option 2: 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
• Option 3: 2 years' general work experience, including 1 year's optical experience and high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• ABO certification through American Board of Opticianry.

Responsibilities

• Leads department sales growth through merchandising, pricing and inventory oversight.
• Forecasts sales trends and aligns assortments with customer needs.
• Monitors competitive pricing and adjusts strategies to improve market relevance.
• Leads community outreach and represents the optical department in programs.
• Oversees eyewear measurements, fittings, and contact lens education under supervision.
