Job summary

Walmart Vision Center is hiring to lead and develop a team delivering exceptional eyewear and customer service. You will guide associates in customer interactions, manage inventory and pricing, and ensure compliance with company policies while supporting community outreach initiatives.

The role emphasizes mentoring, performance improvement, and maintaining confidentiality of records, with a focus on delivering high-quality eyewear and patient care in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of college OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years general work experience including 1 year optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under state laws.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales in the Vision Center with effective merchandising, pricing, signing, in-stock and forecasting.
• Provide guidance to Associates on customer service approaches and resolve issues per Company standards.
• Oversee community outreach and encourage Associates to engage with the community.
• Ensure compliance with policies, asset protection, safety, and quality assurance in the Vision Center.
• Supervise and develop Associates through hiring, training, mentoring and recognition.
• Advise Members/Customers on eyewear selection and perform measurements and minor frame repairs.
