Job summary

Sam's Club in Sherman, TX is seeking an Optician/Vision Center Associate to drive sales through effective eyewear merchandising, pricing, signing and in-stock management. You will supervise Associates, coach on customer service, and ensure member satisfaction while upholding company policies and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of college or equivalent retail+supervisory experience or 2 years general work experience including 1 year optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligibility to work as an optician/apprentice under state laws.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales in the Vision Center through effective eyewear merchandising, pricing, signing and in‑stock management.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulations; monitor asset protection and quality controls.
• Provide supervision and development for Vision Center Associates, hiring, training and mentoring.
• Advise Members/Customers to select products based on needs; perform measurements and basic frame repairs.
