Job summary

Sam's Club in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Optician to drive eyewear sales and maintain high-quality customer service in the Vision Center. You will ensure proper pricing, signing and in-stock levels while guiding Associates in customer care and community engagement.

The role emphasizes compliance with company policies, confidentiality, and ongoing staff development to foster a sense of belonging and excellence in service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of college OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years general work experience including 1 year optical experience.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales in the Vision Center through effective merchandising and pricing.
• Model and guide Associates on Customer/Member service per Company standards.
• Oversee community outreach and encourage Associates to engage with the community.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures and regulations for the Vision Center; monitor asset protection and safety controls.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for Associates in the Vision Center.
• Ensure the provision of quality eyewear by educating Members/Customers and maintaining accurate measurements and prescriptions.
