Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry with patient preparation, preliminary testing, and measurements. No optical experience required—training and tools will be provided to help you learn the industry and deliver a best-in-class patient experience.

You will be part of a collaborative team, reporting to the Office General Manager, with some weekend and evening shifts. This role offers growth through dedicated training programs and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to understand basic math.
• Personable and patient with patients.
• Willingness to learn about optical industry.
• Training provided; no prior optical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, accurately document existing conditions and medical history to prep for Optometrist exam.
• Maintain a smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff throughout appointments.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with office procedures they will be exposed to during appointments.
• Learn to use pretest equipment to perform visual screenings before the doctor visit.
• Collaborate with doctor(s) and team to provide a seamless patient experience.
