Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients, performing preliminary tests, and documenting medical history. No optical experience is required as training will be provided to learn the testing equipment and procedures.

You will help maintain a smooth patient flow, ensure comfort during procedures, and work with the team to deliver a best-in-class vision care experience. Weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role with focus on accuracy and care.
• Able to document medical history and prep patients for exams.
• Comfortable learning new optical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients and document conditions and medical history for prep.
• Maintain smooth patient flow to doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with procedures during visits.
• Learn to operate pretest equipment for visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and perform preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to provide a seamless patient experience.
