MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by prepping patients for exams, recording medical history, and performing preliminary testing.

No optical experience is required; training and tools are provided. You will help ensure a smooth patient flow and comfortable experience during visits, with some weekend and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to learn ophthalmic testing procedures.
• Previous healthcare/optical background preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients and document medical history for exam prep.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor.
• Ensure patient comfort with office procedures.
• Learn to operate pretest equipment for eye screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training where applicable.
• Collaborate with doctors and team for a seamless experience.
