Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry during patient visits, including preliminary testing and measurements. No optical experience?

Training and tools will be provided to learn the field and deliver a best-in-class vision care experience. The role reports to the Office General Manager and may require some weekend and evening shifts. You'll help keep the patient flow smooth, document medical history, and assist with pretest equipment and contact lens

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document conditions and medical history to prep for Optometrist exam
• Maintain smooth patient flow to the Doctor and staff during appointments
• Ensure patients are comfortable with procedures they will experience
• Learn to use pretest equipment for visual screenings before seeing the doctor
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and other preliminary testing
• Collaborate with doctors and team to provide a seamless patient experience
