MyEyeDr. in Greenville, TX seeks an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by performing preliminary testing and measurements, preparing patients for visits, and learning to use pretest equipment. No optical experience is required as training will be provided.

Some weekend and evening shifts may be required. You will document medical history, help maintain patient flow, and ensure comfort with procedures, collaborating with the doctor and team to deliver the highest quality vision

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Personable, patient, and able to comfort patients during screening.
• Detail-oriented and able to work closely with the Optometrist.
• Willingness to learn about the industry, product, and services.
• Collaborative team player focused on delivering the best patient experience.
• Healthcare/medical/optical background preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Consult with patients, document conditions, and chart medical history to prep for exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with procedures during appointment.
• Learn to use pretest equipment to perform visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and other preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to provide seamless patient experience.
