MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients for visits, performing preliminary tests, and learning about vision care through company training.

Responsibilities include documenting patient conditions, maintaining patient flow, and ensuring comfort during procedures. Training is provided for the right candidate, with some weekend/evening shifts required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with basic math ability.
• Personable, patient and able to comfort patients during screening.
• Detail oriented and able to work closely with the Optometrist.
• Willingness to learn about the industry, products, and services.
• Collaborative team player focused on the best patient experience.
• Healthcare/medical/optical background preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsabilités

• Consult with patients, document conditions, and prep medical history for exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with office procedures.
• Learn to use pretest equipment to perform visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training and other preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctor and team to provide seamless patient experience.
