LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and connect patient care with retail operations. You will greet customers, explain services, process prescriptions, and help patients find frames and lenses suited to their vision and lifestyle.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving, and knowledge of eyewear products, with a friendly store presence and attention to HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers promptly and courteously.
• Answers the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information; consults with Optician/Managing Doctor as needed.
• Demonstrates knowledge of appointment book/scheduling and computer procedures.
• Handles and files patient records per HIPAA.
• Operates POS system accurately; handles payments securely.
