Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking a skilled Optician to join our in-house optical team in Chantilly, VA. You’ll take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure your work meets optical standards while explaining prescriptions and product options to customers.

You will partner with a collaborative team to deliver exceptional service, guide customers in frame and lens choices based on prescriptions, face shape, and lifestyle, and reinforce Warby Parker’s brand and mission throughout interactions.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in licensed states or ABO-certified.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail.
• Clear, effective communicator capable of explaining terms to customers.
• Dedicated to going above-and-beyond to make customers and teammates happy.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet all eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to develop best practices for sales and service.
• Represent Warby Parker brand and educate customers about our values.
