Qualifications

• High School or GED qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in fast paced environment.
• PC skills to include MS Office, Windows, and Word Processing.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively and professionally collaborate with co-workers and patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary evaluations prior to exam (e.g., dilation, topicals, imaging).
• Interview patient before visit to determine medical issues.
• Schedule referrals and complete paperwork as needed.
• Record and maintain patient records in HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Respond to patient inquiries about medications and treatment.
