Surgery Partners Brand is seeking a Patient Counselor-FLOATING for the Dallas–Fort Worth metro area. You will greet and counsel patients, educate them on vision correction options, gather histories and payment information, discuss financing, and schedule surgeries and post-op visits.

The role requires travel to nearby facilities within the DFW area, strong communication, and prior experience in sales or patient relations. Healthcare exposure is preferred and a Bachelor's degree is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree desired and a minimum of three years experience in sales/relationship management.
• Previous experience in a medical environment preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communicator, professional appearance and solid work history.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and clinic policies and procedures.
• Willing to travel to other facilities in the DFW Metroplex area.

Responsabilités

• Greeting patients and creating a comfortable environment
• Meet and counsel any prospective patient and educate them on the benefits of vision correction procedures and answering any general questions
• Educate each patient on the procedure and obtain necessary patient history and payment information
• Discuss financing/payment options with patient
• Scheduling patient surgeries and post-op appointments
• Follow up on any online or outside marketing leads
• Follow up on any previous counseled patient that has not selected a vision correction procedure
• Work closely with surgeons to select the best vision correction option
• Required to use ophthalmic equipment to screen potential candidates for Lasik surgery
• Work with marketing to help promote monthly campaigns
• Travel to nearby facilities in the DFW Metroplex area
