Job summary

VSP Vision seeks a Texas-licensed Floater Optometrist to support growing practices across Central Texas, including San Antonio-area communities. You will perform comprehensive eye exams, co-manage surgeries, diagnose ocular disease, prescribe lenses, and respond to emergencies while delivering high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates have OD degree with Texas licensure; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• OD degree with Texas licensure and TPA certificate.
• 1–3 years clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and patient-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams and diagnose ocular diseases.
• Support surgical co-management and prescribe/dispense lenses.
• Respond to eye emergencies and educate patients on vision health.
