Job summary

Luxottica's South East Eye Group is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support daily administration for doctors, visitors, and patients. You will ensure an outstanding patient experience by efficiently linking the doctor and practice functions and by managing patient flow and communication.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, handling insurance eligibility, and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 2+ years of office experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Familiarity with clinic/eye-care software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and assists with check-in/check-out.
• Answers and directs calls to ensure timely patient service.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates with providers to optimize workflow.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA and processes billing information.
