Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking qualified individuals to help TurboTax customers complete their tax returns remotely. You will provide expert tax guidance, perform full-service return preparation, and explain tax terms in everyday language.

The role emphasizes customer empathy, software knowledge, and adherence to policies. Requirements include 2+ years of federal/state tax prep experience, active PTIN, Circular 230 knowledge, and a minimum of 20 hours per week. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of preparing federal and state individual 1040 returns for at least 30 clients per season using commercial tax software.
• Must possess or obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Must possess an active PTIN.
• Willing to work minimum 20 hours per week.
• Knowledge of Circular 230.
• Must reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers via video and audio tools to provide tax guidance and full-service return preparation.
• Answer tax questions and perform tax calculations for customers.
• Document customer interactions and follow company procedures.
• Aim to meet KPIs and participate in training and development programs.
• Support pilot projects and experience validations as needed.
